Tehostaakseen työtänsä malariarokotteen parissa, Amerikkalainen yritys Sanaria aikoo työllistää pienikokoisia robotteja malarialoisien etsimisessä. Loisten etsiminen on tarkkaa hommaa ja vaatii paljon aikaa useilta tutkijoilta. Robotin käyttäminen vapauttaisi heidän ammattitaitonsa suoraan rokotteen kehitystyöhön.


Humankind takes all the time huge steps forward, and it would be pure stupidity not to use our new inventios in every fields. Using robots would not only make it easier to beat malaria, but it would also make the vaccine cheaper, which can mean world to many people in poor countries.
Seeing the progress on these vaccines to diseases like HIV and malaria is really humbling. Only a few decades ago was it predicted that AIDS and HIV would destroy majority of the human species, and malaria has been estimated to be the greatest cause of death in the history of mankind. Living in the 21st century is a real blessing as modern science and medicine combat these diseases, making progress towards a healthy society every year.
